You can use the Vy app to quickly find departures for journeys by train, bus, metro, tram and boat across Norway. You can buy tickets from Vy and other transport companies such as Go-Ahead, SJ, Ruter, Kolumbus, Skyss and Brakar. It should always be easy to make the eco-friendly choice when travelling, so the Vy app also lets you:

. See relevant suggested itineraries in the journey planner - including how long it takes to walk or bike
. Get real-time information on all departures
. Receive push notifications about delays and cancellations affecting your journey
. View your tickets and present your ticket for inspection
. Check how full each carriage on your train is
. Save your favourite routes and places that you frequently visit
. Book taxis across much of the country
. Listen to audiobooks and podcasts, and read newspapers and magazines

We've also enhanced the widget for your favourite routes. It now includes a refresh button, and you can choose which routes are displayed. 19.5.2 Aug 12 We’ve made behind-the-scenes improvements to make the app more stable. On the stop place map under “See departures”, we’ve removed Apple Maps’ public transit markers so that you only see our own tappable stations and stops.If you’re purchasing a ticket for a journey across multiple zones, we now remind you to include every zone you’ll travel through. We’ve also fixed an issue that could cause the “Buy again” button to keep loading indefinitely. 19.5.1 Aug 5 See it live on the map! You can now follow where your departure is along the way, and departures show up more clearly at the stop on the map. We've also improved the passenger selector in travel search, tidied up the date picker with better support for landscape mode and screen readers, and fixed a number of small things to make the app feel cleaner and more stable. 19.3.11 Jul 23 Your departures, right on your home screen!
